“Where do I begin? A little over a year ago I was at a conference at Wisconsin Dells and had my picture taken with a friend. When I saw the picture I was totally shocked, I was wearing a 2X t-shirt and I was stretching it in all directions. I knew I had to do something and do it fast. As we all know weight loss is a challenge and we all struggle to get the desired results.
A few months later I heard about the Biggest Looser program at the Grantsburg Fitness Center and decided to jump on board. At the first meeting is when I met Natalie as a professional trainer. I had seen her around the center before but had no idea she was a personal trainer and directed fitness classes. My eyes were opened that night and I made a total committment to the program.
I also took part in several other opportunities for a serious workout. My first was with Natalie when she set me up with a weight lifting program to augment the cardio workout we were receiving. Then came Boot Camp and the MS Mud Run, wow what a trip.
To date, I have lost over 65 pounds and still loosing. Natalie has since designed a program to develope upper body strength and core strength.
What I have learned is to find the right weight loss program and follow the simple guidelines such as a proper diet, excersise and rest. My new motto is simply “No Excuses.”
In closing, get involved, get committed, get to know Natalie and follow her advise. And most importantly, NO EXCUSES!”

“Transitions Lifestyle Program has truly transformed my life. I was skeptical at first and I had checked around to other weight loss programs but choose Transitions because it was close to my home and didn’t seem confrontational. I had tried unsuccessfully for the past 2 years to lose the weight I had gained following a stressful time in my life. I was afraid that I would follow in the footsteps of my father and die young and miss so much of my daughters lives. I was desperate to make a change and Transitions education, structure, support and coaching helped me make a change that saw dramatic results right away and continue today. I started the program weighing 264. I dropped 12 pounds during the detox week. The next week I dropped another 12 pounds. I really was liking the program then! Transitions helped me change my perspective and reward myself for making smart choices and for the first time in a long time, the reward wasn’t food but self-esteem. Today I am getting daily comments about how good I am looking and how fast I dropped the weight. Over a dozen people have asked me for the details and phone number and I gladly hand it out so they too can start a program that can change their life like it has mine.”
